Grading: 
- 100% - Final Test Grade. Open books lab test.
Exercises: 
- An Exercise will be given every week.
- At least 3/4 of the given exercises must be submitted in order to be eligible for a course grade.
- No late exercises will be accepted.
- Exercises are to be submitted in pairs. The pair with whom you submitted ex1 will remain your pair for the whole semester. Pair shuffling must be approved by me first.
Support: 
- I will be available at the computer farm room 5 on Tuesdays at 09:30.
- Teaching assistants will be available at the computer farm usually in room 5, otherwise, at the gallery. Their schedule will be posted.
Material:
· The course contains two parts: Microsoft Excel (2/3 of the semester) and SPSS (1/3 of the semester)
· The course assumes previous knowledge in basic operation of Microsoft Windows on a PC.
· Summary of SPSS Instructions
- The book "גליון אלקטרוני אקסל 2000 – מדריך לסטודנט" by Hilla Mosheiff Cahana includes the material that will be studied in Excel. 5 copies will be available at the library as of 9/1/05. (Click_here for the specific chapters/pages)
- The book "ס.פ.ס.ס. לחלונות – מדריך לסטודנט" by Nurit Barak and Hilla Kofman includes the material that will be studied in SPSS. (Click_here for the specific chapters/pages)
- The book "בחינות בקורסי ס.פ.ס.ס. לחלונות" by Nurit Barak and Hilla Mosheiff Cahana contains solved exams in SPSS/Excel.

Examples of tests from last year:
Backup: 
- It is highly recommended to backup your individual work on at least two floppy disks.
- Please remember that power breaks do happen and computers do hang up quite often... Therefore, save your work frequently and not just when you leave the room or switch to another application!
